Waterford & Kilkenny Tomb Monuments: 16th- and 17th-century carved stone heraldic tomb slabs bearing this exact shield are preserved in the ruins of the Old Franciscan Friary (French Church) in Waterford and within St. Canice’s Cathedral in Kilkenny, marking the burial vaults of the White merchant dynasts.

Continental European Armorial Manuscripts (17th–18th Century): Following the Williamite Wars, prominent members of the family emigrated to France and Spain (becoming known as the "Wild Geese"). Count John White of Alby and General James White formally registered these arms in continental Europe, where fully painted manuscript illuminations of the shield and lion crest survive in Charles René d'Hozier’s Armorial Général de France and in the archives of the Spanish Military Order of Santiago.
