Sharing the exact augmented armorial bearings of the noble Touhey lineage, the Touhy coat of arms features a shield with a upper red chief charged with a walking golden lion, set above a deep blue field with a golden pile bearing a red Latin cross, flanked by a golden ship's wheel and a golden wheat sheaf. In Irish heraldry, the lion represents ancestral chieftain authority, the red cross denotes spiritual devotion, the ship's wheel signifies navigational mastery, and the wheat sheaf represents agricultural abundance and generous hospitality.
