Whether it’s a gift to celebrate a milestone birthday, a wedding or a housewarming—this piece is an instant heirloom.

The origin of the name Robyns

Robyns is a primary historical patronymic spelling variant of the ancient English surname Robbins ("son of Robin"). Establishing early landed estates across Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, and Somerset, families bearing the Robyns spelling served as church canons, magistrates, and High Sheriffs.

The symbolism of the Robyns coat of arms

Sharing the exact ancestral bearings of the noble Robbins lineage, the Robyns coat of arms features a shield partitioned vertically per pale in black and argent / silver or white with curved flanches counterchanged, charged overall with three fleurs-de-lis across the center. In classical heraldry, the contrast of black and silver fields symbolises deep wisdom, dignity, constancy, sincerity, and unblemished judicial purity. The three fleurs-de-lis represent royal favor, spiritual purity, and high nobility across generations. Positioned above the shield, the crest displays two golden dolphins or sea-monsters affronté flanking a central silver and black fleur-de-lis, symbolising maritime guardianship, swift intellect, affection, and steadfast devotion. Below, the motto scroll displays Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?, translating to "If God is for us, who can be against us?" The formal recognition of this coat of arms was recorded in British heraldic registers and catalogued in Burke's General Armory.
