symbolism of the Miller coat of arms

The official heraldic description records a shield with an ermine background field divided by a solid red horizontal bar (a fess gules), positioned between three blue wolves' heads cleanly severed (azure, erased). The ermine pattern, representing the winter coat of the stoat, historically denotes high civic status or judicial authority.
